Carpenter Opportunity

**Position Type**:Full Time / Part Time Contract
**Location**: Halton Region & Brantford

**Job Overview**:
Fine Fencing & Decks Inc. is currently seeking motivated and reliable carpenters to join our team. As a carpenter, you will support in the construction and installation of fences, decks, and other outdoor structures for residential and commercial properties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the assembly of fence panels and deck components.
- Assist with various tasks, including but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, using various tools, and site cleanup.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Train and mentor junior labourers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a general labourer, with a minimum of 3 years in carpentry or related fields.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual labour for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in construction environments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as needed.
- Ability to life heavy objects and perform physical labour in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Prior experience in construction or landscaping preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Would also be great if you have First Aid and Working at Heights Certificates.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
