**Custom Carpenter - Architectural Millwork**

**About Sandha Woodworks**:
Sandha Woodworks is a high-end architectural millwork manufacturer located in Ontario. We specialize in custom millwork for commercial and institutional projects, including retail, restaurants, and offices. We’re seeking a **highly skilled and experienced Custom Carpenter** to join our team and help deliver outstanding quality.

**Who You Are**:

- You have **5+ years of hands-on experience** in architectural millwork or high-end custom cabinetry.
- You can read and interpret detailed shop drawings.
- You are confident in building reception desks, wall paneling, display units, cabinets, trims, and custom features.
- You know how to work with various materials: veneer, laminate, solid wood, MDF, HPL, etc.
- You have a strong eye for detail, clean finishing, and precision work.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Interpret shop drawings and fabricate custom millwork with mínimal supervision.
- Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and assembly tools safely and accurately.
- Build and assemble components, ensuring tight tolerances and clean joinery.
- Assist in on-site installations when required.
- Work closely with the shop foreman and project manager to meet timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of custom carpentry or millwork fabrication experience.
- Ability to read detailed blueprints and drawings.
- Skilled with woodworking tools, panel saws, edge banders, routers, etc.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- G license and own transportation (preferred, especially if installation is part of the role).

**Compensation**:

- Competitive hourly rate or salary based on experience (**$25-$40/hr** range for top-tier carpenters).
- Overtime available if needed.
- Year-round stable work with large-scale commercial projects.
- Growth opportunities for lead carpenter or site supervisor role.

**Job Type**:
Full-time, Permanent
Monday to Friday (weekends only if needed for deadlines)
