Job Responsibilities.
- Ability to prepare Indian/Asian sauces and curry preparation.
- Must be able to prepare breads and meats in the tandoor (Indian style clay oven).
- Garnishing and presentation of food and in new cooking techniques
- Ensure quality of food and portion control,
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, inventory
- While on duty keep the cooking area clean to make sure that the health and food safety standard are maintained
- Create and prepare authentic Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the MGMT.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities estimate food requirements.

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient meal preparation.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Additional pay:
