Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team at Ana's Hotspot. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the restaurant, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards of excellence and food safety.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
  • Ensure all food is prepared with attention to quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
  • Assist in the inventory management of food supplies, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock.
  • Can also jump in the front and be customer-facing to take orders and handle customer requests.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry.
