The Actuarial Student Analyst Program offers an exciting opportunity for students to explore the actuarial profession at Sun Life. You will be joining our Actuarial Community that provides support and opportunities to analysts pursuing their FSA/FCIA designation. This community has a strong commitment to growing and developing your talent while providing you with opportunities to make meaningful connections through our networking and social events.

We’re recruiting year-round for co-op/student internship roles in 2025.

As part of the Actuarial Student Analyst Program, you will have access to a multitude of resources and activities to support your development and shape your career with us. To make the most of your co-op/student internship you will:

- Be paired with a mentor throughout your co-op/student internship
- Attend lunch-and-learns that cover a variety of industry and company-specific topics
- Have the opportunity to gain case analysis skills at the end of your co-op/student internship

**_ Available Roles_**

During your co-op/student internship, you will have the opportunity to work in one of Sun Life’s various departments. Sun Life will match you with a role that provides an opportunity for you to learn while taking into consideration your interest and availability of roles. Roles will provide you insights on Sun Life’s business while providing opportunities to work on exciting initiatives.

**Functional roles include**:

- Product Design and Management
- Financial Reporting and Valuation
- Asset Liability Management
- Capital Management
- Risk Management

**_ Exam Support_**
- Eligible for study time, exam fee coverage and study materials
- Bonuses related to exam passes

**ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?**

We are looking for the following qualifications:

- We consider students from all backgrounds, but give preference to those pursuing a university degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Progressing towards FSA/FCIA designation
- Effective communication skills and results driven
- Demonstrated ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Ability to maintain good relationships with other teams
- Experience with AXIS and/or VBA an asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
