Position Responsibilities: Work alongside actuarial professionals, gaining insights into industry standards and practices while picking up professional effectiveness habits. Build a professional network in one of the largest actuarial employers in North America. Attend presentations from guest speakers on a variety of topics (such as AXIS modelling, actuarial functions, and exam study tips). Develop technical and soft skills by participating in presentations. Required Qualifications: Working towards a University degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline. Possessing relevant actuarial experience and demonstrating a strong commitment towards FSA/FCIA designations (e.g. passing at least one SOA exam) are considered assets. Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec. Preferred Qualifications: A working knowledge of Excel is required; experience with AXIS or other actuarial software is an asset. Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively present issues, options, and recommendations to both actuarial and non-actuarial audiences. Solution-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative and strong work ethic.
