Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000

The Health & Safety Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and promoting our company’s safety culture across all locations. This position’s primary responsibility will be conducting health & safety audits at our shop facilities, most of which are located in the Greater Vancouver area, with frequent travel to more remote sites. The Coordinator will also assist with incident investigations, deliver safety training, draft safety bulletins, and research occupational health & safety legislation to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about safety in a trades-based environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct regular health & safety audits at shop facilities to identify hazards, ensure compliance, and recommend improvements.
- Travel frequently to remote shop locations to conduct audits and provide safety support.
- Assist in basic incident and near-miss investigations, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Support the development and delivery of safety training sessions for employees.
- Draft safety bulletins, guidelines, and awareness materials for distribution to staff.
- Research and interpret applicable occupational health & safety legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with management, supervisors, and employees to foster a positive safety culture.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Health & Safety Certificate or equivalent education preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a health & safety role, ideally in a trades, industrial, or repair environment.
- Knowledge of BC occupational health & safety regulations and workplace inspection practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel occasionally to shop locations outside the Greater Vancouver region.
- Valid BC driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Primarily office-based at the Walnut Grove location in Langley, with regular travel to shop facilities in the Greater Vancouver area.
- Frequent travel to remote shop locations may require overnight stays.
- Combination of office and shop-floor environments, including exposure to noise, tools, and equipment typical of a collision repair facility.
