Business Intelligence Analyst

**DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst
- Hybrid to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Distribution Business Unit in Surrey, BC or at one of our sites across Canada.

**Job Summary**:
Responsible for the preparation of Business Intelligence (BI) analyses and reports for key stakeholders.

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:

- **Gather and analyze** reporting requirements to provide accurate and timely recurring reports.
- **Perform quality assurance** and validate conclusions to ensure the reliability of your analysis.
- **Select the most appropriate analysis methods** to address specific issues or problems.
- **Deliver recurring reports** and analyses to stakeholders punctually.
- **Extract and interpret data** from operational systems and databases to support decision-making.
- **Utilize globally standardized dashboards** and best reporting practices to meet BI needs.
- **Collaborate with senior BI analysts and leaders** to understand and fulfill end-user requirements.
- **Communicate effectively** with key stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on analysis and reporting.

**Education, Licenses, Certifications**:
College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in Data sciences, or in Economics, Computer Science, or Statistics / relevant field with a quantitative focus, or experience equivalent is required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

**Experience**:
Experience analyzing data and developing clear and accurate conclusions required. Experience supporting a customer-focused organization preferred.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining critical BI views for CSSNA Powergen, using Microsoft PowerBI, Salesforce CPQ, and other query languages to integrate our business intelligence into a leadership view.

Areas in scope of BI:

- Sales / ordering / COR
- Inventory
- Product health
- Supply planning, upstream & downstream vendors
- Nonstock vendor inventory
- Partnered inventory cycle times

Education in Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Software Development, Computer Science, Microsoft PowerBI required.

University or applied experience creating databases, BI, and Data Visualization preferred.
