Bayshore Healthcare is currently looking for a Payroll and Billing Team Lead, for their Shared Services team. This role will complete day-to-day payroll and billing activities as required by the Branch Office(s) and provides relevant information to the National Development Centre. This position acts as a liaison between the branches across the country and the corporate office for Central payroll processing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage; report and control Timekeeping and Billing ensuring team best practices and performance objectives are achieved.
- Support the branch network including Area Directors to ensure tools and processes support the timekeeping and billing processes.
- Complete cycle of Billing in PeopleSoft Finance, processing jobs and data from Interface to GL recording.
- Manage Billing Reconciliation ensuring all services provided are paid and any required billing adjustments are processed in a timely manner.
- Lead, Develop and Manage Direct Reports ensuring required knowledge and skills are in place to meet departmental goals.
- Manage all Team timelines and submission deadlines.
- Perform regular audit of teamwork.
- Track and maintain metrics for the department.
- Lead, Assist and Participate in continuous process improvements within the organization
- Manage a diverse group of coordinators. Technical knowledge and skill set of each level requires differing management/leadership techniques to ensure success of the individuals. The Team Leader must be able to interpret learning styles to obtain the maximum potential of all employees.
- Conduct performance reviews of team members.
- Manage and approve of vacation requests.
- Prepare Field employee payroll including input and processing in keeping with the systems and processes used by the Branch Office; follow up on missing or delayed time slips; prepare data for transfer to the National Development Centre; distribute Field employee payroll advice forms as required.
- Ensure all field staff and contractors are paid accurately and on time managing 6 different payroll cycles and adhering to very strict tight deadlines.
- Serve as the branch payroll representative and assist field employees in resolving payroll issues.
- Calculate overtime, and stat holiday pay per legislative rules and/ or company polices.
- Review payroll reports for accuracy and make adjustments as necessary. Coordinate the resolution of employee related payroll inquires and payroll issues that may arise.
- Prepare invoices and billing as required by the Branch Office and adhere to timelines set.
- Complete daily cash deposits and other Accounts Receivable duties as requested.
- Review aged trial balance reports; handle overdue accounts and collections as required.
- Review sales and margins reports; reconcile hours billed versus hours paid.
- Assist with the administration and records management of the benefits plans as requested.
- Complete other tasks as requested

**Work Location : Mississauga & Niagara on the lake ( Hybrid )**

Job Qualification

**Education**
Completion of a recognized Accounting/Payroll Program

**Experience**
- Working Knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance, AR and Billing Modules
- Report writing
- At least several years of experience with computerized finance/ payroll systems
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory skills is preferred
