**Overview**:
BHive is a Start-up Incubator located in the heart of City of Brampton’s Innovation District and enables entrepreneurs through Canada’s Start-up Visa Program (SUV). This IRCC program helps innovative, scalable, job-creating companies relocate to Canada and make the Great White North their new home. Over the Virtual + In Person Incubation Program, clients learn the ins-and-outs of the Canadian landscape in hopes to successfully launch or expand their company in the new market.

**About the Role**:
The Program Lead is a people person. Their job is to run the day-to-day Founder Programming, both Virtual and In-Person. This includes group learning sessions, asynchronous learning assets, networking mixers, Founder events, office hours and more. The Lead is also coordinating the Mentor and Session Speakers in the BHive community. This means onboarding new Mentors and Speakers, tracking Mentor usage and availability, facilitating Mentor availability with both the Program Manager(s) and other verticals within the organization.

The Program Lead is also a creative person, driving event management at BHive, assisting with the creation of marketing materials and messaging, social media assets and videos, and supporting the creation and ordering of great swag, resources and more to help BHive stand out in the community.

Finally, the Program Lead is a ‘details’ person, helping track budgets, invoices, statistics, CRM dashboards and reports. The Lead looks for operational inefficiencies within the team and jumps in to offer a creative and effective solution.

The Program Lead reports into the COO, BHive.

**The Program Lead’s responsibilities can be broken down into the following categories**:
**Session Management**
- Lead the delivery of Programming Sessions, including coordinating speakers, ensuring booking of spaces and activities, monitoring attendance, next steps etc
- Monitor the success of Sessions and other Program activities via surveys and interviews, interpreting feedback and creating actionable proposals for incremental and overall improvements
- Conduct market research to assist with the development of new curriculum and programming activities to ensure we are delivering the best content in the best manner

**Community Management**
- Assist with building relationships with Mentors, Advisors and Stakeholders during the Program, including onboarding, monitoring their activity and usage, managing their engagement and reporting to leaders about any issues or opportunities
- Drive the online community for BHive, primarily using SLACK and Zoho Landing Pages, to co-deliver content, resources and connection

**Team Work**
- Liaise with Intake Team and Marketing Team to collect and share information and success stories about Founders
- Participate in company events, workshops, information sessions, etc.
- Lead event logistics for BHive and network events
- Willingness to on occasion, work outside standard 9-5
- Other duties as assigned by senior management

**About You**:

- College or University degree in business or similar (preferred)
- 2-3 years’ experience in business, innovation, consulting, etc. (preferred)
- Event management experience
- Ability to learn new processes and tech platforms
- Knowledge of the start-up ecosystem (preferred)
- Must be able to multitask and take initiative
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, while working independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Authorized to work in Canada

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
