The Catalyst is a non‑for‑profit corporation owned and operated by Toronto Metropolitan University and based in Brampton, ON. Hybrid work schedule with expectations of weekly days in the Brampton offices. The Opportunity The Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst is seeking a Program Lead to guide, monitor, and oversee the delivery of cybersecurity training and strategic initiatives for small‑ and medium‑sized organizations as well as not‑for‑profits. This role is responsible for developing and managing planning tools, financial tracking, reporting systems, and operational processes. The Program Lead will ensure that project KPIs and priorities are efficiently coordinated, accurately tracked, and clearly communicated across cross‑functional teams. In this position, you will provide leadership and support to project managers and teams on both new and existing project proposals. You will also manage stakeholder and funder relationships, deliver timely updates and reports, and support the execution of related marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Leads, monitors, and manages large or complex projects from planning through implementation and delivery. Ensures all contract deliverables are tracked, planned, and completed according to established milestones. Develops processes, systems, and reporting documentation, and ensures compliance across multiple teams for complex, cross‑functional initiatives. Coordinates project resources, including staffing, equipment, space, and other requirements. Oversees the creation of project‑specific status reports, communicates potential issues and risks affecting timelines or financials, and recommends and implements mitigation strategies. Develops tracking systems and collaborates closely with Catalyst finance staff to ensure accurate monitoring of expenditures against established project budgets, particularly for large‑scale projects. Coordinates and facilitates stakeholder meetings, ensuring follow‑up actions are communicated to the team and incorporated into delivery plans. Tracks and reports KPIs and milestones accurately and provides stakeholders with timely updates on progress, risks, and any necessary adjustments. Supports and oversees project‑related marketing activities, working closely with the Brand and Recruitment teams to ensure alignment with milestones, deadlines, and budgets. Provides access to project assets, content, and feedback, ensures timely review, and helps set and maintain deadlines for deliverables. Qualifications Completion of a post‑secondary degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project coordination role, ideally within business development, operations, or managing complex projects. Demonstrated project management expertise, including financial management skills. Strong oral communication, project reporting, and writing abilities, with experience facilitating client and team meetings. Proficiency in marketing and relationship‑building. Ability to effectively manage change in dynamic environments. Experience in event planning and management. Strong coordination and leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate teams to achieve goals while adhering to budgets and schedules. Solid financial acumen, including experience drafting budget proposals, forecasting expenses, monitoring research, and managing contract accounts. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong customer service orientation. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
