**Turf Installer/Snow clearing Team Member Job Description**

Reports to: Team Supervisor

Turf Installer/ Snow Clearing Team Member Role:
To contribute to the high-quality execution of our turf installs and artificial turf maintenance services. To perform a variety of tasks (generally physical labor) to assist with the completion of turf install projects and snow clearing. Ensure company image is presented to customers and the public in a professional and courteous manner.

Turf Installer/ Snow Clearing Team Member Responsibilities:

- Install Artificial turf over the prepared base ( seaming, nailing, finishing)
- Install materials and products for Landscape enhancements and snow clearing services
- Adhere to company and local health and safety policies
- Conduct Assigned Tasks
- Keep tools and site clean and organized

The Results We See From a Turf Installer/ Snow Clearing Team Member:

- Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times
- Compliance with all company policies and regulations
- Work done in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Respectful communication with fellow team members regarding questions and concerns
- Best practices are followed
- Safe loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment and safe tie-down in trailers
- Proper transport of materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, hand lifting/carrying,
- Turf layout, installation, and maintenance as directed
- Safe loading and moving of products, turf rolls, Infill, etc.
- Turf and layouts installed per drawing
- Snow clearing duties were conducted as appropriate and agreed.
- Safe clean walkways and parking lots
- Safe operation of various tools and equipment as directed
- Accountability for, and awareness of, all tools on-site and trucks
- Awareness of tool and equipment maintenance needs by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis.

Required Skills/ Qualifications:

- A serious interest in the Artificial turf, Carpet, and snow clearing industry
- Ability to work outdoors and be coachable
- Ability to safely operate required equipment and snow clearing and tools
- Effective communication skills i.e. listen and ask questions
- Desire to learn necessary skills to fulfill required tasks
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Ability to walk, stand, kneel, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Working Conditions:
In the summer we run Monday thru Friday from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm and may work up to 2 Saturdays per month. The workload is heaviest starting mid-April to July and in November.

This is an annual job with full-time pay and guaranteed minimum winter hours.

**Salary**: $48-55,000 /per year based on Experience, plus benefits package, RRSP matching program, and $40 cell phone allowance monthly.
