We are excited to grow our team with a full-time role for a Sales Development Representative.
**Primary Location**: Burnaby, BC (Head Office)

**Position Summary**:
We're hiring a Sales Development professional to report directly to the VP of Marketing. In this role, you'll drive strategic lead development, building relationships with channel partners, prioritize inbound leads, and Engage all inbound marketing leads from customers, and partners to help showcase our solutions' value and guide them through to qualified sales opportunities. Your pivotal role involves sparking initial conversations, nurturing leads, and ensuring successful conversions. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Lead Development**:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities through targeted outreach, crafting personalized messages to generate qualified leads.
- Proactively identify and engage new inbound leads aligned with our target customer profile and qualify thru to sales discovery call
- Own monthly KPI’s for new leads developed and sales accepted opportunity targets
- Collaborate with account managers to align expectations and efforts to generate and nurture leads effectively.
**Lead Triage**:
- Effectively manage and prioritize inbound leads, ensuring seamless and purposeful coordination within the organization.
- Implement a detailed lead triage process, prioritizing leads based on their unique needs.
**Engagement**:
- Conduct initial conversations with leads to understand challenges, goals, and alignment with our solutions.
- Emphasize a consultative approach during interactions, building rapport, and setting the stage for future engagement.
- Tailor communication to address specific pain points and showcase the unique value propositions of our products/services.
- Employ data-driven insights and feedback to tailor messages and outreach, ensuring relevance and resonance.
- Provide valuable information and educational content to leads, positioning our offerings as solutions to their challenges.
**Data-Driven Adaptations**:
- Utilize analytics and insights to monitor lead behavior and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Implement data-driven optimizations to enhance the overall effectiveness of lead conversion initiatives.
**Collaboration with Sales**:
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless coordination of qualified leads.
- Provide detailed insights and context about leads to facilitate effective handoffs to the sales team.
**Technical Skills and Other Requirements**:
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365, etc.).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on insightful engagement.
- Ability to conduct effective discovery conversations and build relationships.
- Knowledge of account-based marketing best practices.
- Bonus: Experience with ZoomInfo (lead enrichment tool) and HubSpot
**Experience and Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in lead development, sales development, or a related role in a software company.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding lead generation and engagement objectives.
**Compensation and Benefits Package**:
At Binary Stream, we know compensation is important to our people. To stay competitive with our pay and benefits, annually we collect and analyze industry benchmarking data from the technology sector across Canada. This data is used to regularly update our salary ranges.
**OTE range for new employees: 62,050 - 83,000 CAD**
