Maxi, Discount banner located in Quebec, is seeking a Social Media Specialist. Maxi's brand has a strong DNA and personality to embody. The brand is bold, refreshing and fun, and its social audience is expecting nothing less. The brand is constantly looking for ways to push the limits, while creating content that is relevant and deeply entertaining.

You’ll be responsible for managing all facets of Maxi's customer-facing social media channels, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn. The focus of your role is to cultivate Maxi's communities, contribute to building a strong and positive social engagement, and driving social ROI for the organization.

Previous community management is required, along with a proven understanding of the evolving social media space, applied to Quebec communities. You'll be asked to embody the brand through community management, to weigh in on the social strategic plans and creative content, and to provide insights and recommendations on the performance of Maxi's content and the pulse of the community.

Accountabilities:
1. Maintain and grow Maxi's social platform to best in class standards, by collaborating with our agencies and partners.

2. Community management- Community building- Social listening, escalation and issues management- Guide development and optimization of social media content- Build strong Q&A to support with any program launch on social media- Deliver against brand priorities- Compile and evangelize results, learnings and best practices- Act as the internal voice of the customer- Advise on social media strategy in partnership with the brand team- Contribute to creating and executing plans with content creators and social influencers

3. Support with Maxi stores' Local Facebook pages- Support Maxi store manager with their local Facebook Page, including short training session and support with technical questions- Reporting on Local Facebook pages activity including key metrics- Provide creative inspiration and toolbox to help stores with supporting Maxi's key program on their Local Facebook pages

Job Qualifications- Proven community management experience- Demonstrated social media expertise from strategy through execution- Deep understanding of social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)- Working knowledge of social media tools (Social Studio and Data Studio an asset)- Excellent writing and editing skills (French)- Post-secondary education, with social media, digital marketing or PR certification- A passion for food (and play on words with food)- Exercise sound judgment to issue resolution of day-to-day operational challenges- Ability to work with autonomy, follow instructions and work as part of an integrated team- Ability to execute with flawless detail while keeping visibility of the broader strategy
