**Job Summary**

The **Production Control Specialist** will work under the direction of the Production Control Section Leader. This is a cross-functional position, working closely with other departments and requires a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for assisting a high-performing team, inbound/outbound logistics, international/domestic shipping, material handling, and raw material warehousing.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with day-to-day logistics operations including shipping, receiving, and internal material handling
- Sustain warehouse layout and continuous improvement to maximize order picking efficiency
- Ensure inventory is stored safely, accurately, and properly identified
- Effectively maintain the order picking schedule for Just-In-Time delivery to customers
- Communicate effectively with Purchasing department, Supervisors, and Managers
- Assist with flow of Kanbans and labels to necessary areas of the plant
- Ensure manufacturing areas have a steady supply of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Ensure efficient and accurate return of materials from manufacturing

**Shifts**
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Salary: Starting from $42,500 (based on experience)

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years experience in a Production Control role within a warehouse and/or logistics environment
- Proficient in ERP systems & Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with International Customs requirements & tariff codes
- Inventory reconciliation experience
- Toyota Production System experience considered an asset
