**Location**: This is a hybrid work arrangement based out of our Home Office location in St. George, Ontario and requires 3 days per week in office and 2 days per week working remotely.
**Employment Type**:This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of March 2025.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Preparing, processing and reviewing bi-weekly payroll for various employee groups in a multi-province/multi-country environment, ensuring all applicable legislation is met
- Coordinating and conducting biweekly, end-of-month, end-of-quarter and year-end payroll activities (e.g. ROE processing, T4/RL1, W2s, accruals, summaries, Workers Compensation annual returns, EHT annual return, year-end balancing, etc.)
- Administering and balancing payroll-related remittances to various agencies and vendors (e.g. tax filings, benefit premiums, pension contributions, etc.)
- Lead the annual benefit renewal process
- Tracking benefit and pension eligibility according to plan documents and related legislation
- Ensuring accurate accounting treatment of payroll transactions as well as facilitating reconciliation of payroll-related accounts with the Finance Department
- Auditing registers and reports to ensure all payroll processing data is accurate
- Responding to payroll and HR-related staff inquiries in an approachable, timely and service-centered manner
**Does this sound like you?**
- University/college education in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation and a minimum of four years' experience with payroll administration in a multi-province/multi-country environment of approximately 500+ employees
- Experience with benefit and pension plan administration, and accounting
- Proficiency in payroll and HRIS software as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Experience using Payworks and BambooHR software would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of legislation related to human resources and/or payroll across multiple jurisdictions within Canada and the United States
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, attention to detail and planning skills
- Bilingual (English and French) - an asset
- Previous exposure to THCF or the camping industry - an asset
