CP Distributors has openings for a **Project Coordinator **for multiple projects across Canada.

The **Project Coordinator** assists and supports the Project Manager and other construction team members with the overall management of the construction projects. The position is **full-time** and, for a highly motivated professional, has tremendous growth opportunities.

As a **Project Coordinator**, you will be responsible to:

- Maintain up to date accurate document control processes for the projects including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, request for information, field reports, and specifications both electronically and hard copies.
- Participate, prepare, and distribute accurate and detailed meeting minutes in a timely fashion.
- Assist the Project Manager with managing the shop drawings and site instructions for all projects within the construction team.
- Collect, document, and file field data (measurements, pictures, etc.) as required.
- Prepare in coordination with the Project Manager, the tender bid submissions for sub-contract and supplier contracts.
- Prepare subcontract documents with clear and concise scopes of work.
- Maintain and update project schedules.
- Assist with occupancy and close out documents, LEED, etc.
- Attend site meetings when necessary.
- Understand and follow systems and procedures outlined in company directives.
- Assist/lead new construction technologies, implementation.
- General and administrative duties as required by the construction team.

**Your Experience**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related engineering, architectural or construction management program or combination of experience will be considered.
- 5+ years’ experience working in the construction industry, working with a general contractor or EPCM preferred.
- Experience using project management software an asset.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral).

**Your Skills**:

- Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings, and other construction documents.
- Strong organizational and time management skills ability to prioritize tasks and resources during project lifecycle.
- Self-motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and be challenged.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Problem solver with positive attitude.
