We are looking for a Medical Secretary for a 5 month maternity coverage for a busy family practice in the east end of Hamilton.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Booking patient appointments, greeting patients, and answering the phone line
- Liaising with patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner while maintaining privacy and confidentiality
- Maintaining patient records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information
- Diploma in Medical Office Administration or equivalent

Qualifications and Skills
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize while working within a busy environment
- Practice Solutions EMR
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and initiative
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
