We are currently seeking one
**Order Detailer **to be based in our
**Woodbridge, Ontario Canada **manufacturing facility.

**What will you be doin as our Order Detailer?**

You will help create detailed manufacturing drawings, collection and updating all necessary hardware templates, and the management for the Door Group's shared drawing and template database. The Detailer works closely with the Customer Service, Manufacturing and Sales teams.

**YOU WILL ALSO**:

- Create drawings using hardware manufacturer's templates, engineering guidelines, sketches, and customer sketches according to manufacturing requirements using AutoCAD-based systems
- Accurately determine all custom product components required for shop drawings
- Define and maintain hardware preparation requirements
- Create layouts, details, and BOM for release to manufacturing
- Use document management system and ERP systems
- Ensure compliance to industry standards and tolerance
- Provide technical and problem-solving support to Customer Service and Manufacturing
- Interpret hardware templates and prepared detailed drawings for manufacturing requirements
- Work directly with customers to resolve template and drawing issues to maximize production efficiency and accuracy
- Other responsibilities as assigned

**The Skills and Experience you need**:

- 2-3 years of drafting/detailing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Diploma or Certification in Mechanical or Architectural Technology or related field, preferred
- Understanding of the architectural hardware industry, building products and/or structures strongly preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Demonstrated intermediate-level math skills with a familiarity and proficiency relating to Algebra, Trigonometry and Geometry
- Have working experience with templates and drawings as a designer or drafter
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, required
- Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated practice of sequential thinking and visualization skills are
- Understand manufacturing processes and manufacturing ability templates
- Have the ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints and manufacturers material
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
