Position Summary
In this role, you will...
The Survey Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales targets in the assigned region by:

- Actively seeking leads and sales opportunities
- Identifying and developing key vertical markets in the territory
- Interfacing and developing strong relationships with key end users
- Closing sales to end users of land surveying hardware and software solutions
- Presenting complex technical sales presentations
- Explaining ROI and clear financial benefits of the Trimble surveying portfolio
- Attending tradeshows and industry events
- Traveling extensively in the territory to ensure close customer contact

About you...
- Knowledge of land surveying / engineering / laser scanning / photogrammetry / aerial / land mobile and other Geospatial technologies are a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of software or computer integration is a plus but not mandatory
- Direct sales skills - track record of success
- Solution selling with strong ability to communicate ROI
- Business planning
- Presentation skills / speaking ability - to drive new technologies
- University degree in a related field (land surveying, civil engineering, geography and/or business, finance, economics) and 2-5+ years of field experience with sales in the GIS, civil engineering, land surveying, aerial mapping, infrastructure or construction fields
