**## About Us**

Tails Farewell is a dedicated pet cremation and memorial service company. We provide compassionate and professional services to pet owners during their time of loss. **##Position Overview**

This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role as our business continues to expand.

**## Key Responsibilities**

As a Store Operations Assistant, you will play an important role behind the scenes and occasionally with customers, helping ensure every farewell is handled with care. Your responsibilities will include:

- Create and maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming store environment
- Gently support families while helping set up our memorial suite for private farewells
- Assist in making pet memorial keepsakes (e.g., paw prints, engraved items, framed photos)
- Prepare and package orders with care and attention to detail
- Scan paper filings and ensure documents are placed in the correct digital or physical folders
- Maintain proper filing systems and organize documents with accuracy
- Support with customer service, including greeting visitors or offering comforting beverages (e.g., water, tea, coffee)
- Assist in organizing and updating product displays and store materials
- Restock cleaning and office supplies as needed
- Aid in cleaning and preparing pets for viewings
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed

**## Qualifications**
- **Must be a pet lover - we want someone who understands the unique bond between pets and their owners.**:

- Fluent in English. Mandarin or Cantonese is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are detail-oriented and take pride in doing things thoughtfully and correctly.
- Are reliable, organized, and able to follow procedures carefully.
- Feel comfortable in a quiet, emotionally sensitive environment.
- Work well under the guidance of a supervisor and as part of a small team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

**## Schedule & Work Environment**
- Part-time: three days per week, flexible shifts
- This role offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the business expands
- You will be working alongside a small, dedicated team of pet lovers who take pride in supporting families with dignity, respect, and compassion
- We support each other, share a love for animals, and handle each farewell with the care it deserves
