**Job Description**:
**This role is assessed as a hybrid position requiring mínimal days in the office (2 days per week) unless business demands require more. This role is also eligible for a Compressed Work Week.**
**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, the Clinical Services Supervisor will be responsible for program planning, effective coordination of services, and providing support and supervision to clinical staff. The successful incumbent for this role will specifically supervise the SNAP (Stop Now And Plan) clinical team and be responsible for supporting clinical development within the broader clinical team of therapists from onboarding new hires through to sustained competency in CBT and DBT treatment modalities. The Clinical Services Supervisor will be a member of the CYMH management team.
**Duties & Responsibilities (are not limited to)**:
- Hires, coaches, informs staff evaluation, and ensures appropriate staff training.
- Provides clinical supervision and oversight to the SNAP clinical team.
- Provides clinical support and development to therapists in the broader mental health team.
- Clinical Supervision: ensure all clinical services provided are compliant with the organization’s clinical practices, policies/procedures, legislation, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
- Support development of clinical competency in CBT and DBT through coaching, direct support in sessions, tape review, and using the Competency Based Supervision Model (CBSM) framework.
- Support the implementation and evaluation of program quality frameworks.
- Maintain a caseload of 1-3 clients using CBT or DBT therapy modalities, including participation in DBT consultation; utilize these cases as training opportunities for staff development.
- Provide coverage for other Clinical Services Supervisors/teams as needed.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support in scheduled rotation with other supervisors across the East regions.
- Participate in agency wide initiatives/projects to support improvements in clinical service delivery and quality care for clients.
**Qualifications**:
- A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Health-Related Discipline with a minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience is preferred.**:
- Must be registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) as a Social Worker, or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Must be eligible and able to perform Psychotherapy as defined under the act.
- Understanding of evidence-based practice and experience working with complex children/families.
- A minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience working in a mental health setting with demonstrated expertise in effective delivery of CBT is required.
- Additional training and experience in DBT will be considered an asset.
- Understanding of service delivery and systems navigation within the non profit sector an asset.
- Previous leadership experience will be considered an asset.
- Computer literacy and effective report writing abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and engagement skills.
- Travel is required for this position; the successful incumbent must have a valid Ontario driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to obtain automobile insurance which includes driving for business purposes with a minimum liability of one million dollars.
