DFCC is currently looking to fill **two (2)** **supervisory **positions, each with opportunities in several areas of responsibility. 1 position will be a full-time supervisory position with a maximum salary in the region of $72,000. The other position will have supervisory responsibilities and carry a client case load with a maximum salary in the region of $67,000.

Reporting to the Program Director, areas of responsibility may include:
i. Program leadership including program development/implementation, supervision, administration and evaluation for:
a. Collaborative Day Treatment (CDTP) Program

b. Violence Prevention Program (VPP)

c. Community Support Team (CST)

d. Family Worker (FW)

ii. Clinical supervision of ISSP, EYOW, CST and/or FW

iii. Individual caseload

iv. Support the Program Director including in the s. 34 Assessment Program

**Hours of Work**
- 35 hours per week. Regular Business Hours 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility is required to meet operational needs or urgent situations.

**Education, Training and Experience**
- A Master’s Degree from a recognized University with a specialization in an area related to the position (e.g. Social Work, Criminology, Sociology, Psychology or related discipline(s)) or equivalent combined education and experience.
- Relevant clinical experience and training working with adolescents and youth at promise and families.
- Demonstrated clinical and program supervisory experience both for RSW and RP direct reports
- Current member in good standing with an appropriate regulatory College for practitioners and competent to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy: e.g., Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Demonstrated understanding of Anti-Oppression, Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion frameworks and theory as applied to communities, institutions, groups and direct supervision.
- Demonstrated integration of Anti-Oppression, Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion practices and approaches within direct supervision to promote and enable psychological safety.
- Knowledge and experience in participatory programming/clinical decision-making.
- Knowledge and experience is preferred in overall project development, management, coordination, evaluation and service delivery (including assessment and mitigation of risk factors).
- Administration and reporting experience.

**Knowledge Required**:

- Sensitivity to power relationships, cultural, gender issues and ethnic differences.
- Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and adeptly addressing workplace dynamics within an AO/AR/EDI framework
- Foundation of a range of theoretical constructs, modalities and social development theories and principles, related to working with youth (12-25) who are high risk/ high need
- Child and youth development, individual, marital and family dynamics and a wide range of intervention practices.
- Group processes and dynamics.
- Methods, techniques and practices of project management, planning and implementation.
- Supervisory practices within an AO/AR/EDI framework, structure and functions of the not-for-profit sector, organizational behaviour and human dynamics.
- Building effective teams.
- Legislation relevant to programs supervised and working within, and community resources pertaining to work with youth.
- Jurisprudence and local knowledge.
- An understanding of relevant legislation and adherence to the policies and procedures of program funding bodies and DFCC.
