Recycle It Canada has been providing environmental project management services in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley since 2004. We are seeking a result driven employee who loves to put a smile on everyone’s face yet help us achieve company goals. This is a fast-paced environment where the schedule is constantly changing, you will be trained in service and job knowledge that will be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to team members and customers. You will lead a dynamic and passionate team to ensure desired company growth, co-ordinate staffing levels and manage the day-to-day logistics.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-orientated, likes working on a variety of projects at one time, and wishes to grow within the organization over the years.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse & field operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- Matching fleet capacity with demand from our different customers, ensuring Recycle It Canada can consistently strike the balance between excellent customer service and utilization; communicating with customers to understand their changing requirements and how we can better serve them
- Understanding Recycle It Canada full team of professional drivers, including their skills, limitations, requests, and preferences, to ensure we have a satisfied driver workforce that is given opportunities to develop and prosper
- Constant focus on the cost of operational labor and ensure that man hours are held to a minimum.
- Prepare quotations from information provided by customers
- Service follow-up calls and arrange site visits
- Resolves problems and/or conflicts and maintains open communication with the client including providing regular oral reports to ensure satisfaction. Recommends solutions and implements appropriate actions for issue
- Support development and business expansion
- Manage, and is accountable for, success and profitability of projects
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Available for some after hours call answer/dispatch
- Proficiency in MS Office products
Experience and Requirements:
- At least a year experience in management role
- Clear, professional level of communication both oral and written
- Experience and proficiency in Marketing considered an asset
- Class 5 License
- Extremely attentive to detail
- Respect company policy and procedures.
- History and knowledge in driving trucks (1 ton, 5 ton, etc.) (Asset)
- Knowledge in operating heavy and light machinery (Asset)
- Demolition experience (Asset)
- Asbestos Abatement (Asset)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods experience and knowledge (Asset)
- Tow Truck or Crane Truck Experience (Asset)
