**Overview**:
The Retail Inventory Clerk manages all of Grouse Mountain’s incoming and outgoing Retail product shipments. They are responsible for maintaining and updating our product database and ensuring inventory levels are kept within established guidelines. They have a keen eye for detail and process improvement and are always looking for opportunities to streamline our back-end processes.

While inventory management is the primary responsibility of this role, excellent customer service and staff leadership are also essential elements.

**Please note**: This is not an entry-level position. Experience as outlined below is essential for success in this job.

**Key Responsibilities of the Retail Inventory Clerk**:

- Receive all incoming inventory
- Collaborate with Accounting department on vendor invoice reconciliation
- Develop and maintain inventory management systems
- Supervise and train staff in receiving and labelling of stock
- Physically load and unload incoming/outgoing stock
- Manage our Warranty cases
- Manage our Special Order files
- Provide retail service to our guests
- Assist management during sales events, staff purchase nights and quarterly inventory counts
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Outstanding attention to detail
- Self-starter with a high level of problem-solving skills.
- Experience in accounts reconciliation and/or inventory management preferred
- Experience in retail an asset, outdoor apparel preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
