Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk

A Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk performs duties related to the ordering, receiving, storing, and the issuing of inventory materials for the district's inventory control department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Conduct inventory cycle counts on a daily as outlined by the ongoing cycle counting program
- Complete cycle counts on items specifically requested by customer service and other departments
- Input inventory adjustments associated with products quarantine and scrap tickets
- Provide assistance to shipping and receiving departments as required
- Assist inventory control scheduler as required
- Participate in mid and year end inventory counts
- Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock
- Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures
- Other duties as required

**Education, Experience and Qualifications**
- Must have 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a warehouse environment
- Experinence with and demonstrate an understanding of inventory principles management
- Strong understanding of inventory cycle counting process
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment and also a self-starter with the ability to work independently

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:
