**Payroll and Benefits Coordinator**

**Job Overview**:
The Payroll and Benefits Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Seaport’s payroll processing and administration, as well as managing employee benefits programs. They ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and benefits to employees while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and company policies.

**Duties**:

- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data input, calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, utilizing payroll software/systems such as ADP.
- Review and verify payroll reports for accuracy before finalizing payments.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to payroll in a timely manner
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Assist employees with enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to benefits.
- Coordinate with benefit providers and insurers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Stay informed about changes in benefit laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
- Conduct periodic audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of employee payroll and benefits information.
- Generate reports related to payroll, benefits utilization, and costs as needed.
- Prepare and submit required payroll and benefits reports to regulatory agencies.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits-related inquiries.
- Provide guidance and assistance to employees on matters related to payroll, taxes, and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to address employee concerns and resolve issues.

**Qualifications**:

- College or University Diploma.
- 2 years of payroll experience.
- Experience with ADP as an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Detailed, accurate, and precise.
