Furniture and Procurement Specialist

**FURNITURE AND PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Design & Creative Support**
- Support early-stage furniture planning, material selection, and custom furniture concepts
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure FF&E selections align with design intent, budget, and schedule
- Review drawings or models to verify furniture scale, layout, and fit
**Procurement & Coordination**
- Source, price, and order FF&E, finishes, and custom items
- Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved selections
- Track orders, production schedules, lead times, and delivery dates
- Maintain procurement records and project trackers
**Order & Delivery Management**
- Coordinate deliveries with vendors, freight carriers, warehouses, and job sites
- Monitor shipments and proactively address delays or issues
- Support installation schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery
**Warehouse & Inventory Management**
- Maintain an organized and tidy warehouse
- Track inventory as it enters and leaves the warehouse
**Vendor Communication**
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for vendors
- Request quotes, samples, and lead-time confirmations
- Maintain vendor records and pricing information
**Budget & Documentation Support**
- Assist in tracking procurement spend and monitoring budgets
- Organize invoices, packing slips, and delivery documentation
- Support reconciliation of purchase orders and invoices with Finance
**Internal Coordination & Process Support**
- Collaborate with designers and project leads to align procurement with project schedules and design intent
- Provide regular updates on procurement progress to internal teams
- Support project close-out by ensuring all orders are complete and properly documented
- Assist in improving procurement workflows, tools, and templates

- **Attention to Detail** - Ensures order specifications, budgets, delivery schedules, and vendor communications are precise and error-free.
- **Communication Skills** - Clear and professional communication with vendors, designers, project leads, and internal teams to keep all stakeholders informed.
- **Time Management & Prioritization** - Efficiently handles competing priorities, monitors lead times, and flags potential delays proactively.
- **Problem-Solving Ability** - Quickly addresses discrepancies, damages, shortages, or delays to keep projects on track.
**Salary**: $60,000-$70,000 (Based on Full-Time)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
