Great news We are currently seeking a **Logistics and Documentation Specialist**that will be based at our Vaughan Headquarters. **This role will be a 6-month contract.**
As a Logistics and Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining our business processes. This position requires a strong background in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and exceptional organizational abilities. You will be responsible for coordinating with transport providers, consolidating customs paperwork, managing purchase orders, and handling a large volume of documents. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations and compliance with audit requirements.
**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Work with transport providers to obtain Bill of Ladings and tracking paperwork.
- Collaborate with brokers and use broker portals to consolidate customs paperwork.
- Detail multiple purchase orders per order from each factory, collating all necessary paperwork, HTS codes, and country of origin (COO) per item.
- Handle a large volume of documents and paperwork, grouping and organizing them for future audit purposes.
- Accumulate and group sales order documents electronically.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Key Competencies**
- Proven experience with ERP systems.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to handle and organize large volumes of documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of HTS codes.
