Project Coordinator

**Your Opportunity** We are looking for a talented Project Coordinator to join our team and support the company’s Multi-Family project efforts leading administration in all phases of the construction project life-cycle. **Job Summary** We are a growing General Contractor seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented proactive, self-starter with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Organization, time management, attention to detail and accuracy are essential to this role. This position will function as support to our project management team, and require you to take on various project work from multiple sources and prioritize accordingly. **Duties /Job Description** - You will work closely with and assist the assigned Project Manager and Project Superintendent with all day-to-day duties of project construction and administration. - You will plan and schedule key construction activities and establish construction priorities to maintain project quality, schedules and cost factors. - Ensure milestone and deadline dates are established and enforced relative to activities and responsibilities. - Develop, coordinate, maintain and track as applicable all project tasks, including but not limited to: plan and specification coordination, scopes of work, tender documents, estimates, trade contracts, contract changes, utility accounts, purchase orders issued and monthly updates. - Manage all documents in relation to standard specifications, purchaser selections, and sales coordination with the project team. - Working alongside the project team to develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to improve job site productivity and improve "product quality". - You are responsible for the effective management and organization of the construction, and post-construction activities for each project. - Ensure compliance with company policies, and safety and quality standards. - Coordinate, attend, record and distribute meeting minutes as required for each project. **Qualifications** **Competencies** - Previous experience on multi-family projects is an asset, preferably on multi-storey buildings or townhomes. - Demonstrated track record of detailed administration of projects. - Knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Possess a strong commitment to team environment while working well with others which includes treating employees, customers, owners, building officials, subcontractors, vendors, and anyone else necessary with respect and dignity **Software Proficiencies (Requirements)** - Strong tech proficiency and adaptability to utilize technology effectively in project management. - Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint - Scheduling - Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet - CM Software - Procore Construction Management - OnScreen Takeoff (Optional) - DocuSign Join our team as a Project Coordinator where you can make an impact by driving successful projects that contribute to our organization's growth **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday Application question(s): - Do you have Multi-Family (apartment) construction experience? **Education**: - Bachelor's Degree (preferred) **Language**: - English (required) Licence/Certification: - Procore Certification (required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Edmonton, AB T6K 2P1 Application deadline: 2025-03-15 Expected start date: 2025-03-15
