This position is key to a smooth functioning clinic. It is a vital link between our patients, doctors and other staff. You will be providing clerical support to 1-2 physicians at a time.

Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
The ability to handle confidential information with skill.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- **Duties include but are not limited to**:_

Answering phones and making phone calls
Booking appointments
Preparing exam rooms before and in between patients; setting up trays for medical procedures.
Checking vitals per routine of clinic
Clerical support - creating and maintaining patient charts, mailing of forms, coordinating chart requests, invoicing uninsured fees, etc. On a rotation basis with other staff members you will direct/attach all incoming communications (including faxes) to appropriate patient chart or to appropriate doctor using EMR and other tools provided by management.

**Experience**:

- Medical office assisstant: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Medical office assistant certificate/diploma (required)
