**Network Administrator**

This role is responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing network and security systems within Amphenol’s IT network. The Network Administrator & Analyst is expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems, and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products.

**What does a Network Administrator do?**
- Analyze, assess, and enhance the security of our network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, NAC, load balancer and monitoring tools
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, latency etc.) and test for weaknesses
- Conduct regular maintenance, release upgrades, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Configure and maintain security measures for firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, wireless systems, and other network infrastructure components
- Administrate & define network access policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and implement network solutions aligned with business requirements
- Provide expert technical support to resolve network-related issues

**What you bring to the table**
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer-related discipline
- 2-3 years experience in Network Analysis, Network Administrator and security roles
- Hands-on experience in installing and managing firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, wireless systems, and related network infrastructure (Cisco, Fortinet & Sophos devices.)
- Familiarity with security solutions such as CrowdStrike EDR, MS Defender 365, MS Intune MDM
- Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Certification on networking courses such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, etc.

**Salary range: $70K-$80K / Year**
- Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: IT, telecommunications, information technology, ccna, network security, network administrator, network analyst _
