**Job Summary**: Provide high-level technical expertise in the area of IT infrastructure and network platforms for global operations. Designs and implements infrastructure solutions in collaboration with business and product development teams. Further, this individual would be responsible to ensure that the established processes to meet the regulatory and G+D corporate security requirements are respected and optimized, in a fast paced and critical environment. We are looking for an experienced Network Adminstrator that brings a broad set of skills and serves as a technical lead in the region (Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia). Further, support EMEA and APAC.
- **Primary Responsibilities**:

- Operations and maintenance of corporate Global LAN / WAN environment
- Deployment, configuration and administration of networking devices such as Switches, Routers, Wifi based on Cisco or Arubaand VPN devices
- Collaboration and Cordination of activities and reporting to Enterprice Opertaion Center (G+D India) and Central office (G+D Munich)
- Support, monitoring and responding globally (other regions) - follow the sun concept
- Troubleshoot network issues and performance; use various commercial and G+D propritory monitoring and analysis tools
- Deployment of secure VPN connectivities between sites and also with customers
- Administer Network locally and on the Cloud hosted in Americas, Europe and Asia
- Documentation and maintain network diagrams and configuration changes
- Plan and execute changes, including coordination, planning and notification about changes.
- Make recommendations for the enhancement of the operational processes
- Provide regional Network administration support
- Work in a global team of experts to support internal and external customers around the globe
- Conduct monthly (weekend) maintenance activities
- Maintain Disaster Recovery and Business continuity processes by planning and testing fail-over activities
- Guide the local and regional network team and execute G+D IT Networking strategies

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the logical security requirements are maintained based on standards such as Company, VISA, MasterCard, Amex and PCI
- Provide on-call support for G+D global sites
- Assist Help Desk and Server Administrators
- Participate in logical security audits at G+D Global Sites

**Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements**:
**Work Experience**:

- Must have minimum 5 years of experience in managing and configuring Networks.
- Experience in Enteprise Networking (BGP, Cisco DNA, Routing, IP/Sec, Monitoring, QoS Optimization)
- Working experience in Wireless technology
- Working experience in Global team and supporting Global customers

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Deep knowledge in network management (Cisco, HP Aruba, and Fortinet) is mandatory
- Project management and work in a global team
- Experience with Server and Workstation, DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP etc.
- Knowledge about SDWAN and Wireless technologies areappreciated
- Experience in structured and formalized IT operations according to ITIL standard
- Working experience in network monitoring systems
- Knowledge of PCI DSS/CP, PI and other Governement Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to direct their teams and communicate IT needs to organization leaders
- Competancy in configuring load balancers
- Self-organizes, collaborates and manages efforts with peers and teams across responsibility areas, languages, geography and time zones
- Aself-starter, curious and not afraid to ask questions and challenge the way things are done today
- Sees a problem or opportunity, takes ownership and acts on it independently
- Develops methods and habits to be an informed and motivated product owner
- Informs, educates and develops team members, peers and customers to grow expertise, alignment and collaboration
- Presents ideas concisely and in an informative manner to both large and small audiences
- Demostrates situational and organizational awareness to take ownership or escalate issues to achieve coverage of our global footprint
- Responsible to maintain confidentiality

**Education**:

- University or College Degree in the technology related field, or equivalent work experience
- Certification in Networking

**Working Conditions**
- Safety Shoes/boots is mandatory on Production/Manufacturing floor
- Limited travelling is required
- Providing Level 3 support after-hours
- Available to work flexible hours and weekends to conduct maintenance and upgrades
- Able to rack servers and networking devices
- Able to manage network cabling for the servers
- Travel 2-3 times per year; must have no travel restrictions globally
