Now Hiring - Business Analyst

In this role you will help improve processes and efficiency across the TMX Markets Operations by eliciting, documenting, and analyzing requirements around business challenges. Working within an Agile squad, you will need to work effectively with both people and information to facilitate a solution to a problem.

Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with Business and IT collaborators to gather, confirm and document functional and non-functional requirements- Conducts deep-dive analysis of business problems, and determines areas for improvement through collaborator meetings- Facilitating meetings to understanding business problems- Works alongside the Product Manager to formulate achievable recommendations for implementation- Effectively translates requirements into detailed and development-friendly agile user stories- Works alongside the development and QA teams to ensure an efficient development pipeline- Support internal users and clients in case of incidents to determine the root cause alongside the development team supporting the product.- Provide assistance to review QA test cases and scenarios- Participate in UAT testing, reporting on results, ensuring quality and alignment to the business requirements

Critical skills and background in order to succeed in the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or similar field- 4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.- 2 years of experience in transformational, process digitization projects- Experience working in an Agile and adaptive working methodology- Software and system troubleshooting skills- Excellent documentation skills- Superb communication and interpersonal skills; develop recommendations and drive action.- The ability to influence collaborators and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.- Ability to demonstrate available resources to complete the tasks at hand- Excellent qualitative and quantitative analysis skills and the ability to translate conceptual concepts to a broad range of audiences- Ability to handle challenging tasks and determine priorities within
