**Overview**

About us: We are a new Bakery in Tofino BC. We offer wholesale baking and supply cafes/restaurants in Tofino & offer custom wedding & event catering. We are looking for someone that is passionate about baking and looking to use their creativity in a fast-paced bakery. Start time immediate / March 2025

What you’ll do:

- Prepare pastries, cookies, pies, and other baked goods
- Deliveries to wholesale clients (valid driver’s license is required)
- Work with custom cakes, baking and decorating with precision and creativity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen
- Maintain professional relationship with clients
- Excellent communication within bakery team & cafe teams

What we are looking for:

- A passion for baking & attention to detail
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions with consistency
- Team player with positive attitude
- Work early shifts
- Experience with cake decorating, working with fondant, buttercream, and other finishing techniques

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a similar role
- Baking knowledge & transferrable skills
- Food safety certificate
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail when following recipes
- Excellent communication in person & online
- Driving license

Start time Immediate *March 2025*

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
