**Availability**:
Shift flexibility is preferred. Permanent, Full Time & Part Time, On Call, Shift, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening shifts may be required.
**Salary**:
Typically starts at Minimum wage, up to 40.00 Hours per week. Gratuities.

In a situation where an operator owns more than one Smitty’s location, you may be asked to work in a secondary location, within reason, when needed.
**Education**: Some high school preferred
**Credentials & Certificates**:
Provincial Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
Food Safe Certificate, First Aid Certification is an asset.
**Experience**:
Experience in a fast paced working environment, fast food, family or fast casual dining is preferred.
**Languages**:

Squirrel or similar restaurant Point-of-sale system.

**Food and Beverage Serving Skills**:
Serve food and beverages, general plate service, Carrying trays, Present bills to guests and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards. Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, Advise on menu selections, ability to upsell items. Adhere to Smitty’s Steps of Service standards. Basic dessert portioning, beverage preparation and service.
**Additional Skills**:
Guest service oriented, Address guests' complaints or concerns, Assist guests with special needs, Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations, Balance cash and record sales, Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, Load bus pans and trays, Set tables, Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, Extra cleaning duties as assigned.

Good verbal communication skills, basic cash handling and counting skills, Reading text, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information.
