The anti-financial crime team is looking for a product owner for the SafeID app which is used to identify and digitally verify prospects (it is a key element of the Bank’s digital strategy). This person could be you.

Being a Product Owner (PO) at National Bank means:

- Participating in large-scale projects that have significant impact
- Collaborating closely with business partners to define the product roadmap by maximizing value creation while also keeping in mind the constraints and interdependencies with other projects or sectors
- Structuring the product backlog in increments (PI Planning) and prioritizing the work needed for iterations (sprints)
- Leading projects within multidisciplinary teams while representing the best interests of the stakeholders and reducing security risks at the Bank
- Prioritizing activities according to user needs while fostering sound change management
- Continuously improving and making corrections to the product to improve the user experience and meet business needs
- Informing stakeholders about the progress of initiatives and solutions
- Influencing stakeholders when making decisions on changes to the product by efficiently sharing your vision and any other pertinent information
- Acting as a product expert for sponsors and stakeholders
- Innovating and monitoring market trends related to the evolution of the product
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a product owner or business analyst in IT project delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Agile methodology
- Ability to motivate and bring people together
- Ability to influence
- Proficient in French and English

Desired qualifications:

- Experience in the development of complex software solutions including back-end services (micro-service architecture) and client interfaces
- Knowledge of the banking industry
- DevOps mindset and culture
