Dispatch Coordinator- Auto Parts

Brampton, Canada Road Train Express Inc. Full time

Duties:

- Oversee transportation management activities, including dispatching and routing of vehicles.
- Coordinate and monitor shipping and receiving operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of transportation-related information into the system.
- Manage fleet operations, including maintenance and repairs.
- Utilize transportation management systems such as SyteLine, Oracle Transportation Management, and AS400.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor and optimize delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations.
- Maintain records and generate reports on transportation activities.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in transportation management or dispatching is required.
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems such as SyteLine, Oracle Transportation Management, and AS400.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Familiarity with fleet management practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and 3PL providers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using phone systems for communication.

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Every Weekend

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L6W 3K2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
