We’re Chilliwack’s trusted local health food store, helping customers make educated choices for all their natural, health related needs.

We provide a huge range of products such as natural groceries, vitamins & minerals, supplements and herbal products, beauty and body care products, aromatherapy, and environmentally friendly household cleaners.

We have two staff members who are certified Registered Nutritional Practitioners, several who have completed various health programs, and we’re constantly upgrading our product knowledge through workshops, seminars and general research. All our staff members are not only qualified but passionate about health and nutrition. So if you are too, you’ll fit right in.

**Working at Sardis Health Food**

At Sardis, everyone pitches in on all sorts of tasks. As our new assistant manager in training, you’ll initially be spending lots of time learning the full scope of the job. You’ll do a bit of everything in the store, and provide oversight for other employees along the way. On any given day, you might find yourself doing the following:

- Advising customers about healthy products
- Organizing displays and merchandising
- Completing purchase orders
- Receiving orders
- Running the cash register
- Keeping the store organized
- Monitoring inventory
- Reviewing and updating schedules
- Helping and advising staff
- Social media posts and e-commerce
- HR duties such as hiring and retaining employees

You’ll be awesome at this role if you enjoy connecting with people in terms of health and wellness, and are eager to learn.

And because we have so many options to serve customers’ needs, you’ll have many opportunities to give quality advice to people looking for help. That’s why we want someone who is invested in helping people, and interested in gaining knowledge about our products.

We’re also seeking out someone who wants to stick around for the long-term, and become an expert on our industry, our clientele, and retail management. Customer service is imperative, so you’ll need to be the sort of person who doesn’t mind going the extra mile for customers.

**The Details**

This is a full-time role, with a fixed schedule, typically 35-40hrs/week. We also cover for each other to make it simple to book vacations.

Hourly wage starts at $25.00/hr with flexibility for experienced people. We have various staff discounts and health and wellness perks; we want you to live a healthy, full life - both inside and outside of work

**Qualifications**

Above all, you need an enthusiasm for health, and the desire to serve customers. In addition, these qualifications will help you stand out:

- is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, or has equivalent credentials;
- is experienced in retail Wellness;
- is a good listener, and driven to help others;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
