Job Listing: Part-Time Experienced Sourdough Baker Position: Part-Time, Contract-Based Hours: 2 nights per week, 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM Compensation: Paid per loaf, approximately $18-22/hour About Us: My Purple Pantry specializes in freshly baked sourdough bread. We are looking for a skilled and experienced sourdough baker to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. Job Responsibilities: Prepare, mix, ferment, shape, and bake sourdough bread to high-quality standards

Bake cookies and specialty yeast loaves on mixing days. Work independently overnight to fulfill production requirements Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation Follow food safety and hygiene standards Ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimize waste Maintain a clean and organized baking area Qualifications: Proven experience in sourdough bread baking (professional or extensive home experience) Strong understanding of fermentation, hydration, and shaping techniques Ability to work independently and meet production goals Attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable and punctual, comfortable working overnight shifts Food safety certification (preferred but not required)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week
