Reporting to the Manager, Work Management, within ATCO’s Electricity division, the **12- or 16-month co-op student **is responsible for supporting the Work Management team, as well as other business work groups throughout Electricity Operations. Responsibilities include ensuring that business/project deliverables are achieved through supporting business process development and implementation, and monitoring and analyzing data to identify and address process adoption and compliance opportunities for improvement. Data entry and analysis, retrieving requested information, compiling documentation, process development monitoring and updating, and supporting company initiatives are some of this role’s primary duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Work Management team with initiatives and project management by compiling and analyzing data, and developing and maintaining associated reporting.
- Interface with all user groups to develop a thorough understanding of individual system needs and current practices.
- Assist in addressing business issues escalated by the regional teams and WAM E program in a timely manner.
- Provides input on rollout strategy and business transition strategy.
- Reviews deliverables impacting processes for completeness, accuracy, and quality on project deliverables such as process maps.
- Monitors consolidated area business metrics to ensure targets are met and identify trends and issues.
- Evaluate current processes and provide recommendations to assist in addressing/developing enhancements where required. Complete evaluations of standard forms, aids, procedures and best practices to consider their effectiveness.
- Responsible for supporting the implementation, training, and rollout of project processes and procedures.
- Assist in managing the associated business process documentation inventory.
- Collaborate with Asset Management and Project management team members to ensure alignment in the initiation phase of the model

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a business, computer sciences, or computer engineering post-secondary degree program.
- Enrolled in a co-op or equivalent post-secondary work experience program.
- Knowledge of project management considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and negotiation skills.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Proficiency in Maximo, and/or Oracle suite of products considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Operator’s License.
- Use of technology for data analytics considered an asset
