Reporting to the Supervisor, Financial Services, the **8-month co-op student **will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks that will support our financial services team, reconciling bank transactions, uploading journal entries.

**What You Get to Do**:

- Assist with filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Reconcile bank statements and account transfers, perform monthly bank reconciliation
- Support Finance team for Month-end close and Account reconciliation
- Provide coverage and support to other positions within the accounting team as required

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a business or accounting co-op program from an accredited University; previous co-op work experience is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with an aptitude for math
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Eager to learn with a positive attitude
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy with speed
