**Facility Maintenance Technician**
CMP Group Ltd., a leading provider of Marine Products, Construction, and Industrial solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Delta team/location on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting and repairing equipment and is required to maintain all equipment to standards, be responsive to production needs/equipment failures and maintain a high level of accuracy and safety, while performing duties.

**Responsibilities (Production and safety)**
- Read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machineries
- Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
- Participate in the Preventative Maintenance program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines
- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machineries
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
- Maintain a clean and environmentally safe work area
- Promote safe work practices as outlined in BC’s Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, adhere to all company safety SOP and equipment safety features and strive for Zero-time lost accidents
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 2 years relevant work experience
- 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance in responding to production needs and equipment failures
- 1-2 years of Mig and Stick welding experience
- Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with the possibility of call-ins and overtime
- Experience using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) is an asset
- Red seal/apprentice experience (Asset)
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills and flexible to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing, comfortable working in a team/independently and able to meet tight deadlines
- Steel-toed safety boots

**Hours**
- 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
- In office position
- Possibility of call-ins and overtime

**Salary**: $26.78-$33.87 per hour
