Building Maintenance Technician

**Position Summary**:
Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all maintenance related tasks required for the facility and equipment.
**Position Responsibilities**:

- Manage all PM works for facility, safety and all other equipment
- Conduct monthly inspections for all building equipment and safety equipment
- Update an maintain LOTO for all equipment
- Sort maintenance parts and assist supervisor in organization of the maintenance shop
- Coordinate and assist contractors for any on-site work
- Complete all documents required for the maintenance department
- Ensure facilities repairs, upgrades, etc are completed on time and accurately
- Support any new production line installation, relocation or modification
- Build or install safety guards, new wirings or other items as needed
- Participate in facilities improvement projects
- Complete all assigned activity on a timely manner
- Support all departments with tasks related to building maintenance
- Maintain and Update all maintenance logs accurately and on time
- Other duties as needed

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Min 3 years’ experience in the maintenance department
- Required to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook, etc.).
- Basic knowledge in CFIA Manual and HACCP System preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
