We are looking for a **Lead Hand** to oversee and manage nightly cross-dock operations at our Cassidy warehouse. In this role, you will lead by example, prioritize freight, and ensure that safety standards and operational efficiency are met. You will work closely with our Night Supervisor in Victoria and supervise a team of warehouse staff.

**Sunday to Thursday 9pm Start**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead nightly cross-dock operations, ensuring timely and accurate loading/unloading of freight.
- Supervise the Cassidy warehouse, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage reefer temperatures and ensure lockout safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain daily communication with warehouse team and the Night Supervisor (in Victoria) to ensure smooth operations.
- Enforce safety practices, procedures, and awareness throughout the shift.
- Provide direction and mentorship to the team, fostering a positive, productive, and cooperative work environment.
- Lead by example in all aspects of warehouse operations and safety.

**What You Bring**
- Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Logical thinker with the ability to make confident decisions under pressure.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including equipment handling and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment.
- Forklift certified with 1+ years of hands-on experience.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule to accommodate vacation coverage and unforeseen absences.
- Attention to detail and strong focus on customer service and operational accuracy.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $26.66 per hour
