Ladysmith Home Hardware Building Centre is looking to add a Plumbing & Electrical Sales Associate to its team.

The day to day details of the position would include assisting customers with their home improvement needs along with merchandising and organizing inventory. Depending on applicant’s background, he or she would have a lead hand in running some of our in store departments.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
Ability to multitask

Describe features and benefits of merchandise

Explain the steps needed to complete projects and the products needed

Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure that it is clean and safe

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a fast paced customer service environment

Experience working in a sales driven environment is an asset

Excellent communication and reading skills

Excellent decision making ability and problem solving skills

Trade experience is an asset

Proficiency with computers

Detail oriented

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
