about this team
The Outbound Logistics Strategy & Optimization team is responsible for developing and executing the long-term logistics strategy and optimizing the logistics network. The team works closely with the Logistics Operations team, a diverse group of internal stakeholders and our logistics vendors to provide best-in-class logistics solutions. The Analyst, Reporting & Analytics is responsible for managing the monthly accruals process and outputs for North America outbound logistics, and drives other key activities in analyzing and reporting on logistics cost and spend to support business decisions.

a day in the life
- Owns the monthly accruals & financial reporting process for NA Outbound Logistics
- Drives Outbound Logistics cost and financial management analyses
- Pro-actively identifies financial risks and conducts root-cause analyses
- Enables the data foundation for financial reporting by collecting, compiling and quality checking data from multiple sources
- Supports the Outbound Logistics Strategy and Optimization team with ad-hoc reporting & analytics tasks
- Owns the creation, publication, and review of periodic financial reports across multiple business units
- Collaborate with Outbound Logistics team and Finance partners to ensure reports are delivered in a timely fashion

qualifications
- Experience in accruals, financial reporting, and cost analysis, preferably related to logistics
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have experience with advanced reporting tools (i.e. Microsoft PowerBI)
- Must have experience manipulating large datasets with a keen eye for spotting and fixing inconsistencies
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field
- Ability to approach tasks with a continuous improvement mindset
- Effective speaking and writing communication skills
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and social skills
- Knowledge of databases and SQL is desirable
