**Analyst, Planning & Reporting**

Canada - Vancouver, BC (hybrid)

The Analyst, Planning & Reporting will be a critical resource providing West Fraser’s Sales, Marketing and Logistics (SML) team with planning & management reporting leadership. Reporting to the Director Strategy & Insights, the Analyst will be accountable for:
**Management Reporting**:

- Maintain existing sales management reports
- Design, develop and deploy automated Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly review as well as annual plan meetings including the preparation of presentation materials in close collaboration with SML leadership team
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and presentation support to SML leadership team
- Lead or support implementation of new reporting tools in collaboration with IT and Finance

**Planning & Forecasting**:

- Co-lead and improve the integrated sales planning process working closely with SML leadership, Operations and Finance
- Support Sales teams generating volume and price forecasts and ensure inventory levels are in line with targets
- Support and coordinate on-time submission of Strategic Plan, Annual Budget, and Quarterly Re-forecasts
- Other activities and projects as required

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or other relevant quantitative discipline
- 2+ years of experience in a financial planning, reporting or analysis role, preferably in a multi-faceted, complex global business in the industrial sector
- 2+ years of experience working with Power BI with advanced knowledge of DAX
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels
- Able to consistently identify when work is required and to initiate action as appropriate
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team, under tight timelines, with great attention to detail

**Nice to Have**:

- Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA)
- Experience with Oracle’s EPM and/or JD Edwards ERP software
- Superb presentation skills with previous experience of preparing materials for and presenting to VP levels
