Maintenance and Procurement Clerk

**Responsibilities**:
- Administration of Molycop computerized maintenance system including updating PM’s or work order templates, scheduling work orders, and closing out completed work orders.
- As part of the Maintenance team and as required, obtain quotes, prepare purchase requisitions, receive and put away supplies, parts and repaired equipment.
- Support the Procurement Coordinator in purchasing activities, particularly maintenance supplies and parts procurement, and assume primary procurement role in absence of Procurement Coordinator.
- Maintain MSDS database including obtaining MSDS from suppliers and updating MSDS sheets in MSDS database. Regularly review and monitor MSDS database for stale dated MSDS.
- Maintain and organize maintenance parts and supply inventory including performing periodic inventory counts (i.e. cycle counts) to ensure appropriateness of inventory levels. As maintenance inventory systems increase in complexity over time, incorporate inventory management practices as necessary.
- Maintain drawings database including updating database for new or modified drawings. Over time develop ability to make minor modifications to drawings as necessary.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Molycop safety policies and practices. Where possible take an active role in safety.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Grade 12 Diploma required, post-secondary education is preferred.
- Previous experience working with purchasing and computerized maintenance systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced manufacturing environment facing constant changing priorities.
