Located in Abbotsford British Columbia we are a small but busy warehouse providing finishing (stain or paint) for our windows and door customers; both residential and commercial for over 30 years. We are looking for individuals to join our existing team as we expand our production services to deliver the flawless service we are well known for. If you enjoy working with your hands and have previous experience with paint or stain preparation, we would be interested to hear from you.

As part of the production process, the production worker will provide day-to-day specific dismantling, preparation, and assembly for customer products. Reporting to the Production Team Lead, and using lean principles, they will achieve a no fail quality preparation, on Vinyl, fibreglass, aluminum pultrusion’s and wood products through hands-on or with various tools or machinery. We are looking for an individual that is known for and has a Keen eye for detail to ensure we do a flawless job for our customers.

**Hands-on Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces for stain & lacquer finishes.
- Mask, fill, and sand to achieve a uniform finish.
- Prime, stain and/or spray window, doors, cabinets etc. for finishing
- Assist in Job changeovers.
- Execute the right tools and processes for the job at hand.
- Report job variations and defects to Warehouse Team Lead.
- Adheres to packaging and shipment processes to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Maintains and organized workspace and cleans equipment and work area.
- See and eliminate waste through continuous Lean improvements (5S)
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years as a warehouse production worker preferably with a background in a finishing shop.
- Able to use a forklift and Pallet Jack.
- Able to lift-up to 50lbs and pushing/pulling various objects as required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and has essential mathematical skills.
- WHIMIS Certification - Desired.
- TDS Certification - Desired.

**Compensation**:

- $18-22 per hour based on experience and achievements.

**Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required**:

- Steel-toed shoes
- Safety glasses (will be provided)
